Today I vacuumed, upstairs, downstairs, THE stairs, swept and swept (2 dogs + 3 cats ugh!), changed the sheets, did some laundry, windexed, polished, cleaned up dog doodoo, cleaned the kitty litter, walked the dogs, went to the post office, the grocery store, did the dishes, cooked dinner, and I must say it is getting a little monotonous. But before I let myself get too mopey, I reminded myself that the benefits of having those 5 wonderful furry creatures in my life far outweighed the burden of cleaning up after them. And at the end of the day, with lifted spirits, I even baked my 6th creature named Matt, a batch of his favorite cookies. No kidding. At least for now the chores are done, until tomorrow anyway...
